The overall purpose of the Collaboratory for Anti-Infectives and Therapeutic Strategies (CATS) is to improve the lives of humans and animals by mitigating the burden of infectious diseases.

 

 

 

Objective 1: Form new alliances between scientists, innovators and students at the University of Arizona to find solutions to existing and emerging infectious diseases.

Objective 2: Recruit and train the next generation of students and scientists to focus efforts to reduce the burden of infectious diseases.

Objective 3: Partner with federal and state agencies, and other organizations to expand research capacity at the University of Arizona in anti-infectives and therapeutics.

Objective 4: Engage with scientists, corporate leaders and investors to streamline the path from ideas and discoveries to products and solutions.
